I was taken to the Aviary for Sunday lunch by a good friend and his enthusiastic recommendation was bang on the money. The food was superb, and even though I am a big eater, the portion sizes (nearly) defeated me! This is an absolute gem of a place I wish I’d discovered years ago. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, with an easygoing nature that belied their dedication and attentiveness.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since it opened. And it’s always been good. Service very good. Owner very attentive. Food is lovely and prepared with care and love. I’ve always found that they will try to go above and beyond in service, and aim to give the customer the best they can offer. They listen to any special requests/tweaks you may require as an individual and execute your request If it’s possible to do within the dish etc … see you all again soon 5⭐

Another fabulous visit to The Aviary last night and once again the food and service was excellent. You are always guaranteed a friendly welcome from Coli and the team which is just what’s required when you visit a local restaurant. The food I would have to say since the two years we’ve been coming is probably the best to date so congratulations to chef Tinashe and his team. To start we enjoyed the Mussels and the King Prawn Saganaki. We followed these with the Prawn and Chorizo Linguine and the heavenly Rigatoni Lamb Ragu. I enjoyed a fabulous Pistachio Cheesecake to finish. Thank You Coli and all your team for a great evening and look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

Best meal we’ve had in Hornchurch! Incredible food, and amazing service, they even gave my husband a card to wish him a happy birthday, what a lovely touch. Cocktails were delicious, and a really friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

We had a late lunch. The beef starters were lovely, and the lamb cults for mains it was beautiful. The pasta Ragu which was also ok. The toffee pudding was nice as well. Highly recommended

This was our second time at this restaurant and both times my partner and I were blown away with the quality of food and service. A special shoutout to Kacy and Tim, they were so friendly and personable, it really made the experience. Already looking forward to coming back x

Loved the food. Really well presented and tasted great. Compliments to the chef. Enjoyed our meal and drinks. Service good as very accommodating. Would definitely recommend. We went on a weekday so wasn't super busy.

We had an amazing experience for our anniversary, the food was delicious, the staff was so nice and friendly, the mocktail was 10/10. They gave us a lovely card and complimentary drinks for our anniversary.
